I covered Watauga's softball and soccer home games against East Burke last night. From what little bit I got to actually watch of the matchups, The Pioneers dominated both games and it was evident from the start that E. Burke didn't stand a chance. Watauga's softball team improved to 8-10 with their win, while the soccer team moved to 10-4-2 overall this season.
Nicole Reilly (above) pitched a complete game shutout and Jennifer Ballew (right) scored a run in Watauga's 2-0 win.

Wow, really nice stuff. Nice choice using the fast shutter speed (I think) to capture the action with no blur. I can see the dirt flying!
These pictures are really good, and the soccer one, I can see dirt and muscle, its like you were right in there with them. Good work P.
