Attack of the One-year-old!

Or rather the almost one-year-old. Addison's first birthday is coming up on the 30th and Josh and Lindsey wanted me to get some shots of her to have up for her party.

Senior Night Volleyball

Senior Kendra Yearick returns a volley during Ashe County's Senior Night game Thursday. Yearick and the Huskies defeated Surry Central in three games.

Down & Out

Back-up quarterback Dalton Lewis is carried off the in the fourth quarter of Ashe County's 12-0 loss to Reagan. The second straight loss drops the Huskies to 3-2 on the season.

Lewis' pass intended for Tatum Lemly (21) is picked off by a Raider DB at Reagan's five yard line, ending Ashe's best opportunity to score the whole game.

Border War

Coach Bill Strong and the Huskies had no answer for Watauga's offense in their 27-6 loss to the Pioneers on Friday night.

Watauga's Baine Martin (21) scored on a 39-yard interception return and a 60-yard run against Ashe County's struggling defense.


Husky RB/DB Aaron Scott had the lone score on a 65-yard interception return late in the fourth quarter of Ashe's 27-6 loss.
